Visit to the Eastern Shore

This weekend we drove up to the Eastern Shore of Maryland to spend the weekend with our good friend Scott (David's boss from the White House).  Scott has an absolutely stunning house right on the Chesapeake Bay on 13 wooded acres complete with nesting Blade Eagles.  John David did pretty good on his first extended car ride.  The drive should only take about 2.5 hours but with traffic it ended you taking closer to 4.5 hours.  He was such a trooper!  We had some great food and even some delicious fresh steamed Maryland crabs right out of the Bay on Saturday night with some of Scott's friends.  Below are a few picture from the weekend.
