MLK Day at the Water Park

We spend part of MLK Day at a little water park about an hour outside of Brussels. It was awesome for kids and adults. It had a wonderful little play area for the under three crowd as well as a kids pool with super warm water and four water slides that could keep all the adults entertained. It was not a Belgian holiday so all the kids were in school and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Please excuse the picture quality. I was not brave enough to bring my DSLR into the water park.

Nana, BaBa, Aunt Alison and Uncle Michael Visit

We were so lucky to have Mom, Dad, Alison and Michael come visit us after Christmas.  Despite the bad weather (although very typical of this time of year).  Everyone seemed to have a great time.  John David loved all the attention from everyone particularly Nana and BaBa (aka Grandpa).  Here are a few pictures from their visit.

David stayed home with John David so I could play tour guide in Brugge, one of Belgium's most popular cities.

I also took them to the beach front town of De Hann so they could see the North Sea.

Later in the week I took Dad, Alison and Michael to Gent while Nana stayed home with John David (she went to Gent during a previous trip)

We all took the train (Except for David he had to work) to Cologne, Germany for the day. John David loved the train and then was kind enough to fall asleep once we got to Germany so we could enjoy an amazing German lunch!

Per usual I never take enough pictures around the house when we have visitors, but here are a few randoms.
