John David and I went to visit our friends in Iowa last weekend. We stayed with Jenny and Ben, who were the most wonderful hosts, and also got to briefly visit with Kristin, Joe and their new adorable addition, Derek. John is less than 4 months old and he already has 3 states under his belt! I absolutely love Iowa! I have always said that it is the one place that I have lived where I would live again. We had wonderful weather and it was so nice to get away from hot and humid Northern Virginia. It was a very low key and relaxing weekend with lots of yummy food and we are so thankful that we got the chance to see everyone before we leave for Brussels! Thanks you guys for a great weekend!
We got really lucky on our flight to Iowa and had two seats to ourselves so baby could lay on the seat and play

Jenny had her nephew's ExerSaucer and that was a big hit! Gigi bought John David one so I am in the process of putting it together.
