Visit from the Isenhour's

Well last week Mom, Dad and Alison came to visit us in Greece! We had wonderful weather and it was a great trip. We spent the first couple of days in Athens. We took them to the Acropolis, shopping and to the Embassy. Vicki took us to a Greek woman who makes the most beautiful pottery and we all took away some really nice pieces. We also took a trip to the picturesque town of Nafplio which is about a 2 hour drive from Athens. You have seen pictures of Nafplio before when David and I have gone but it was so beautiful when we went with Mom, Dad and Alison. There were these beautiful red flowers everywhere and the weather was wonderful. On Thursday we flew to the island of Santorini and stayed their until Memorial Day when we flew back to Athens. Santorini was unbelievable. I would have to say it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. It was a great visit and it was hard to say goodbye but hopefully the below pictures will inspire more of you to visit in the future. Enjoy the pictures below!

View of the volcano from the main island of Santorini. Santorini is a volcanic island which is why it is so rocky. It is still active but there has not been any activity for many many years.

The beach in front of our hotel was a beautiful black sand beach and the water was crystal clear. Everyone got into the water even though it was still a little chilly.
